When the world shifted during the pandemic, I saw the mental health of our youth taking a hit. I knew I had to do more than just run drills. I founded ACES to be a sanctuary—a place where we build the "whole athlete."

ACES provides resources and mentorship to ensure our scholars are performing in the classroom, keeping doors open for collegiate opportunities.
3. The Enlightened Mindset The mental game is what separates good players from great ones. Through mentorship and leadership development, we teach our athletes how to handle pressure, overcome failure, and lead with integrity. We cultivate the resilience college recruiters are actually looking for.

I’m most proud of the culture we’ve built. When a parent tells me their child’s grades have improved or that they’ve seen a shift in their confidence and maturity, that’s my "championship" moment. Seeing these kids realize they are "ACES" in every aspect of life is why I wake up every morning.

The roots of ACES began during the 2020 global health crisis. During this difficult time, founder Navro Allen noticed a troubling trend within the NA2 Athletics program: student-athletes were facing increasing challenges regarding their mental health, educational progress, and social well-being. Recognizing that these students needed support beyond the playing field, Navro Allen and the NA2 Athletics Corporation took action. The result was the creation of Athletic Committed Enlightened Scholars (ACES), a non-profit officially established in December 2022 to address these critical needs.
Founded by Navro Allen, Athletic Committed Enlightened Scholars (ACES) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the mental development, educational excellence, and social advancement of youth. We primarily serve student-athletes aged 9 to 18—a pivotal developmental window in a child's life.
Our mission is to cultivate students' minds and empower them to realize their full potential. We use athletics as a vehicle to teach valuable life lessons, enhancing our students' academic performance and fostering a compassionate, inclusive social outlook.
